High School Life Teen

The parish has a youth ministry which is centered on the liturgy, especially the Eucharist. The high school Life Teen program encourages teens to embark on a journey of faith in order to deepen their relationship with God.
The Catechetical sessions help teens enter into authentic and full worship of God with a faith community of peers, families and adult ministers. The teens experience Christ’s power and love through praise and prayer at Mass while being immersed in the sacramental presence of our Lord.
Class consists of catechesis, service to others, social activities, and/or sports activities.
Active involvement in the program for a minimum of two years is a pre-requisite for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. This means that each year, participants must:- Attend at least 80% of the scheduled weekly sessions
- Participate in at least one retreat (typically 2 are offered each year)
- Complete at least one service project (several are offered each year)
Our Life Teen group is very active and growing and we encourage all high school teens to join. Adult core members are also needed to help organize and lead our teens.
Life Teen meets on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm in Hedges Hall during the school year.
