• Lectors serve to proclaim the Word of God at the Divine Liturgy. In preparation for Mass, the lector becomes immersed in God’s Word so it may be proclaimed from the heart and the meaning come forth as God intended.
  
  One must be able to read aloud and have a clear, strong speaking voice. Training is provided for those who are interested in this ministry.
  
  This is a great opportunity for those who are unable to become involved in other parish activities that require attendance at functions during the workweek.
