• Sacristans are a special group of “behind the scenes” volunteers who prepare the sanctuary for each Mass. Necessary training will be provided and new Sacristans are always welcome.
  
  Duties include:

  • Ensuring that all assigned liturgical ministers have arrived and enlisting substitutes if necessary
  • Checking to ensure that the altar linens being used are the proper color for the liturgical season
  • Helping the priest with garments worn for Mass
  • Verifying all items needed for Mass have been prepared and are in place
